What The Closet Edit Includes

Every piece,
accounted for.

This isn't closet organization. As a personal stylist serving Orange County, I evaluate every piece through the lens of fit, lifestyle, versatility, and how it supports the wardrobe you're building, not simply the closet you have.

Whether you've worked with a professional organizer before and want the styling layer added on, or this is your first time having your wardrobe reviewed by a stylist, every closet edit is tailored to your home, your lifestyle, and the way you actually get dressed each day in Orange County and Newport Beach.

FAQ

Closet Edit,
questions answered.

What exactly happens during a closet edit?
We go through your wardrobe piece by piece, evaluating fit, condition, and how each item works with the rest of your closet. What stays gets organized and styled into complete outfits. What goes, goes gracefully. You leave with a closet that's easier to get dressed from every morning.
How is this different from a professional organizer?
A professional organizer focuses on storage and systems. A closet edit is styling-driven: every piece is evaluated for fit, flattery, and how it works with your lifestyle, not just how neatly it folds. Many clients pair the two, organizing first, then bringing in a stylist for the wardrobe itself.
What happens to the clothes I don't keep?
We talk through donation, consignment, or resale options based on what makes sense for the pieces and your preference. You're never left with a pile of clothes and no plan for it.
Should I do a virtual or in-person closet edit?
In-person sessions are ideal if you're local to Orange County or Newport Beach and want hands-on styling as we go. Virtual sessions work well for anyone, anywhere, and are a great fit if you'd rather move through your closet at your own pace with guidance on video.
How long does a closet edit take?
Most in-person sessions run four to six hours depending on the size of your wardrobe. Virtual sessions are typically up to three hours. Either way, we work until your closet is fully organized and every piece has a purpose.
Do you edit men's closets too?
Yes. The Closet Edit works for both women's and men's wardrobes, evaluating fit, versatility, and lifestyle the same way regardless of whose closet we're working through.
What if I'm not ready to get rid of anything?
That's normal, and there's no pressure. Every decision is yours. My role is to give you an honest, expert opinion on what's working and what isn't, but what stays and what goes is always your call.
Do I get a shopping list afterward?
Yes. Once we know what's staying, we build a gap list of what's genuinely missing, so any future purchases are intentional instead of impulsive.
